How do I add a link instead of the actual URL?

I would like to be able to include links in my posts that appear as "normal-looking" words (blue, underlined) instead of the actual URL. It just looks neater & takes up less space. So far I haven't been able to find the correct format. Can someone help me?

To do that, press the lil "http://" button that is above the reply text field. it will prompt you to enter the text you want, and then the url. Like this:

DUH!

I wasn't reading the prompts - not just incorrectly, not at all! I was entering the URL at the first prompt & then again with the 2nd. I thought it just wasn't picking up for some reason. I've been out of work too long!
