Are there only certain things you can order or can you get whatever you want or what??
Please someone give me good detailed info, because i need to decide if it is worth it or not for us.
(We like nice meals at sit downs, no counter service, etc.)

If you enjoy sit down, fine dining and enjoy sampling appetizers, salad and an entree then it is definitely worth it. We have used it on our last 3 trips and been very pleased, especially when ds(11) orders $45 lobster & filet and STILL wants (and eats) a salad and dessert.

Mention to the server that you are on the plan. We don't use it for breakfast because your money goes further using it at lunch and dinner. The servers tell you what your options are: soup or appetizer, salad, entree, dessert, etc. You do not have to select from a special menu. In fact, we are always told about special lobster entrees not listed. For us, we have found that we save money. We are going again on the 25th and using it again.

Enjoy!

We did the gold package and if you like sit-down meals ....it is definitely worth it. Our meals for the 2 us averaged about 100-130 dollars. I agree with MamaQuack....don't use them for breakfasts...just lunch and dinner.

No special menu and be sure to come hungry!!!!

Breakfast - full buffet or entree breakfast (includes entree, side item, drinks)
Lunch & Dinner - full buffet or entree lunch (includes appetizer, entree, dessert and drinks)

That is for each member of your party. If it's you and your spouse, you get 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, etc. No limitations... it's great!!!! You can order the most expensive entree or off the kid's menu.

My boyfriend and I use this plan every year we go to WDW. He is a chef so we have been trying every resturant we can. :teeth:

As was mentioned above, let your server know you are on the plan. Alot of times, they will want you to order the most expensive thing on the menu (usualy surf and turf, lobster and filet) because their 15% tip is included! :Pinkbounc

Sometimes you do feel like you NEED to order the most expensive thing on the menu to get your money's worth. I was so sick of lobster by the time we left last year (I couldn't believe it). I would suggest order what you like, (good thing I like lobster) you will enjoy the food alot more if you do but I do enjoy not having anything I want and not having to look at the price, just sign and go. :teeth:

I agree with Scoobmuzic . Only my downfall was crab's legs. It seems when you are using wishes.....you can pretty much add crab legs or filet mignon to anything...lol

Oh, and it forced me to try dessert too...since it is included. I have now become a creme brulee addict.

hi, do any of you folks know what the silver add-on would cost for 7 nights per adult? it isn't quoted on deb's site or mousesavers. thanks

thanks, dansyr. also, would you know if the wishes can be used at a later date if they are not all used during the package's length of stay?

unfortunately...they can't

However .....on the silver plan you can use your wishes for many things....so if you don't eat them all.....lol....you can use them for spa services or tours.....or I think even some merchandise. Your wishes can be used until midnight your last day there though....so if you have a later departure you can still use them for meals your last day.
