How Disney World Ticket Prices Have Climbed Over Time

It is just supply/demand. And demand is high right now. Super high! (DESPITE all the increases, more people keep coming .. strange, huh? )

I want to point out that's technically not true anymore. The latest quarterly report stated a modest decline in attendance at WDW.

I don't know if that's a one time thing, or if its the start of a trend. We'll find out though.

My guess is everyone delayed their vacations due to all the constructions and just wanting to wait until at least Frozen, Rivers of Light and new Soaring were open. OR prices may just be getting to that tipping point.

May see reduced attendance until at least one of the new lands opens.

Tell that to other travel industries like hotels and airlines. I don't get anything more out of my stay at a hotel then I did 10 years ago, but the price has gone up a lot. My airline experience has significantly WORSENED in the last 10 years and I pay a ton more for it.

That could be the case, and I believe some of that. It'll be interesting to see.
