How Different is Dinner at Akershus.....

from lunch? We've only eaten lunch at Akershus (several times), but this trip I think we are going to try dinner. It always seems we have to stop what we are doing in FW and head to Norway, so we are changing things up a little this time.

Is the appetizer buffet still available? My DH loves all of the cold salads on that and my girls love the fruit and cheese. The characters interact the same way as lunch (photo with one, then the others come around to tables), right?

dinner is nearly identical. A few of the entree options are upgraded for dinner and while we had to pay oop for an entree for our 2 yr old at lunch, she was complimentary at dinner...beyond that- totally the same...right down to the appetizer buffet.

Check in is chaos no matter what...but it looks like they seat in princess rotations- i.e. they halt seating for a while to give everyone a break...which adds to wait time. Last time we had an adr which I guess was time during a break and waited 45 min to get in b/c of this. This time we were seated almost instantly, but we left during a break and saw a huge crowd of people waiting to be seated for the next rotation.
