I met Josh in December 1998 online in a video game chat room. At the time, we were both playing Zelda 64 for Nintendo 64 and were searching the site for some tips on how to beat the game. We started chatting and realized that we had much more in common than just video games. Our chats became a nightly event and eventually we exchanged phone numbers. We spent hours talking to one another on the phone. Since he lived in Northern VA and I was in Ohio, our phone bills were outrageous. We decided to meet in person in January 1999. We spent 3 days together and had an amazing time. The night he returned home, he called me and told me he could not live without me and was moving to OH. He moved here on Valentine's Day 1999 and we have been together ever since. We were married on May 25, 2002 and honeymooned in WDW! We will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary next week in WDW! WOO HOO! :lovestruc

So, how did you meet yours?

I met John when we were both 13 or so. He was "going out" with my best friend but she broke up with him because he didn't kiss her....LOL!

He moved away for a while and when he moved back he happened to become best friends with one of my best guy friends. This was when we were all 15 and had just started driving. Anyway we would all 3 go out together as friends and one night it just clicked with us. We've been married for 13 years and together for 16 years. We are 32 so we've been together half of our lives.

I adore him and have no doubt I found my soul mate.

DH and I met in highschool in 1982. He asked me out on October 5, 1982 and we got married October 10, 1987.

We'll be celebrating our 17th year of marriage this year.:teeth:

I still do not know how we put up with each other all these years.;) :teeth:

Met at work in September/October, engaged in January, married in May. 30 years ago this month.:D

I met my DH on March 5, 1975 - on a very snowy night. My girlfriend and I had gone to a movie and when we came out we had to brush snow off my Dad's car before we could leave. A car went by us and a boy threw a snowball at us. I didn't think too much about it, but my girlfriend wanted to follow them so we did. My DH was driving and the passenger, who threw the snowball, was his cousin. We started dating, became engaged in May and married September 27, 1975 so it'll be 29 years this year and we're still very much in

Junior year of high school, 1983, Ecology class.

The rest, as they say, is history!!;)

I met my husband at an Italian Catholic Church Singles Meeting in downtown Los Angeles. (At the first, and only meeting we attended!) We had our 1st date 5 days later & then after 2 weeks he proposed! We married a year & a half later & the end of this month, we will have been happily married for 10 years!

We met at work. He was a supervisor in another department and I was just finishing up college and was an hourly employee. The company really frowned upon anyone in management dating an employee whether you worked with each other or not. We had known each other for awhile before but went on our first date in May 1990. We managed to sneak around until the following January when I quit working there. We still kept it hush hush. We were engaged in May 1991 and married 3 months later in August! He still works for the company. Do you think they're onto us yet? :p

In college, we were set up by my roommate and her friend who had dated my husband, but were still friends. Next month, we'll be married 5 years.

We worked together. I was just starting to go through a divorce from my first H. I didn't know it, but my DH was also going through a divorce. We started going for coffee once and a while. Our 1st "official" date was on St. Patrick's Day -- we went out for green beer.

Neither one of us were looking for any type of a relationship. We became a shoulder to lean on during a tough time for both of us. Many people said our relationship wouldn't last because neither of us had time to become individuals after our divorces and come to terms with our past relationships.

We'll be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary on June 4th -- I think we knew something all of the others didn't. ;) :D

I was in 7th grade, she in 6th. I noticed her playing four-square during recess at school. I thought she looked cute. We went "steady" for eight years(!), & will soon celebrate 23 years of wedded bliss! :love2:

I met Chris on a little bbs frequented by college students....:D

I met my DH in a bar. He was the best looking man I had ever seen and he obviously felt the same way:D Well, he drove me home that night AND moved in that same night! :p We have been together ever since - he is my soulmate!

Worked at same company. I called and asked Marie to a company ski trip in Jan '68, she did not want to go. I kept 'chasing' her for 11 months, trying to get a date. We maintained a phenomenal phone relationship, 3 or 4 4-hour-long calls a week, got to know each other almost as well as if we were dating. I started a devotion to St Jude (patron saint of impossible things) and put it on the line in my mind as a final time asking her out, morning mass on Thanksgiving. It worked (she still claims it was not a 'real date', but I do :)) I was able to wriggle my way into her family's Thanksgiving dinner that afternoon (told a little fib) and from then on, we dated. Engaged about 18 months later, married Sept 11, '71, 33 years coming up soon.

I was 15 he was 16. We were working at a camp for underprivildged kids. We started dating that December and we never broke up!

We are 27 now and happily married for 5 years! We had a dog when we were 20, our first baby aat 22, then 25 and now our third! I really am lucky I found my best friend so young!!!:D

I picked Gael up in a bar. She was dating a jock at the time. She jumped ship to date a geek.

Geeks rule!

Ummmm.......DH was my first husbands best friend! ::yes::
