How did you find the DISboards?

I stumbled upon the DIS thru a search engine while planning our trip to WDW in 2004. Before that, I had never seen or participated on a message board before. How did you find your way to the boards?

I was here - literally - on day one. I heard that Pete was starting a discussion board from the RADP (Rec Arts Disney Parks) newsgroup. My own little claim to fame.

When we started planning our trip last year I typed Disney into Google...and we see where that got me...a big old addiction to the Dis Boards.

I was doing research a for term paper and when I put the term "crazy women" into a search engine, the DIS board is the first thing that showed up....hmmmmmm......

I don't quite remember how I first found the DISboards, but I think that I Googled "WDW", this is one of the sites that came up, and I decided to check it out. The rest, as they say, is history!!!

I used to go to Fodors.com when I was researching trips. They didn't have much info on Disneyland which was what I was needing and I saw somebody mention disboards. Now I am happily addicted and haven't been on Fodors since!

i just happen to be flying by on my broom when it suddenly started to rain and since i can't get wet, i landed the broom in a corn field of crop circles and decided to search engine disney and **poof** here i am...

now i can't seem to get my broom to want to leave this place so i think i may be stuck here awile.. ( i think my broom secretly likes reading the PMs i get)

A long time ago i hung out on the MYCOUPONS community board and when i mentioned planning a WDW trip someone there said I should check this place out

After our first trip in 2000, my husband did a search for Disney and found this site, he joined. I wasn't sure I wanted to join a BB so I just lurked until I read a post that I just had to respond to, so than I joined.
