How crowded is Easter Weekend?

I have the chance to go to a conference at the Dolphin that runs from April 17-19th (yes the day after Easter).

Exactly how busy is Easter weekend?
Would it be worth taking the family for the long weekend?

Since it would be a free visit (at least for me) it seems like a no-brainer but if it is wall-to-wall people we probably wouldn't enjoy the visit.

It's pretty crowded....but most of us here on the DIS would always feel it's worth a trip!
