How crowded and more expensive is a Thanksgiving Day 3 night cruise??

I'm considering a Thanksgiving Day, 3 night cruise in November 2007 so my girls don't miss too much school.

How crowded would the cruise be compared to other weeks and will it be much more expensive?? This will be our 4th cruise (all others were the first week of December).

Any experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Well I will be cruising on the 4 day Thanksgiving cruise this year. I don't know how crowded it is yet, but I can tell you the price I paid was about the same price for a summer cruise.

Not sure about the expense, but I have sailed when the ship was filled to capacity and it never felt crowded. I wouldn't worry about the crowd aspect at all. Hope you get to go!
