Oh that’s not good because an adult will be sleeping on it.For kids, I think it’d be fine. I did not think it was comfortable. I will say though that the mattress is definitely thicker and more comfortable than a standard cardboard thin one you’d normally see somewhere else.
Yes, as a paying adult I'd definitely want a real bed. My son didn't mind sleeping on CCV's pull-out because he wasn't paying.Oh that’s not good because an adult will be sleeping on it.
So for younger kids...ok. I tried sleeping on it one night with my 6 year old and it was not comfortable. I've started to think about adding more points here to book 2 Bedrooms moving fw'd.This is my only concern about staying there.
I don’t want this to come across as mean, but I cannot imagine spending all that money for a room to have to sleep on the floor or on a blow up mattress. I’d book at a different resort with two real beds or at the WL on the resort side if it’s open when you travel. Now I’m second guessing my decision on booking CCV.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make the sofa bed more comfortable.Would putting blankets on top the mattress help or just putting the mattress on the floor lol? Maybe just sleep on the couch without it folded out?
I would bring a blow up mattress but we are flying and always just take carry on.
Yes I checked at the WL. The price of WL is 100 more a night right now. No standard rooms available.I don’t want this to come across as mean, but I cannot imagine spending all that money for a room to have to sleep on the floor or on a blow up mattress. For some reason WL’s cheapest room is around 500 a nightWhen are you traveling? If it’s after the beginning of June, why not book a room on the resort side of the WL?
We have stayed twice in a DVC studio - once at BCV and once at BLT. I thought both of the sleeper sofas were uncomfortable in both studios. My boys sleep on them and never seemed to mind when they were younger, but on our next trip, they’ll be 15, and they want a real bed to sleep on and I can’t say I blame them.
I totally understand! We stayed at the WL once during the Christmas season and it is truly beautiful - my favorite resort to stay at during the holidays.Yes I checked at the WL. The price of WL is 100 more a night right now. No standard rooms available.
We were only staying a couple nights at CCV. I kind of have my heart set on it because it will be when they have Christmas decorations up.
I just went and checked. The cheapest room available at WL is courtyard for 583.00 a nightI totally understand! We stayed at the WL once during the Christmas season and it is truly beautiful - my favorite resort to stay at during the holidays.
Maybe a resort discount will come available making the WL rooms cheaper than the DVC side.![]()
