How close is BLT to the 1000 mark?

Can I ask where you heard this from? I was a new buyer and dealt with a Senior Guide when I was there in November and he said it was only for existing DVC members. I purchased 320 points so if there are tiles left, I should be entitled to one if this is the case!

Oh well, I was BLT member number 1057. No tile for me.

We just got home.
DH has not resgistered us yet.
However we just bought last Monday.
I am sure though that by what is being said here as well as nothing was mentioned to us that we will not be getting a tile.
Bought 160 points, adding on another 30 I think.

The 1,000 to get your name on tile/plaque (whatever it is) was for first 1,000 who bought at least 160 points whether as an add-on or new buyer. Whether they have reached that yet I do not know. All those who added on for less than 160 points don't count toward the 1,000.

I'm interested in hearing more about this because I was specifically told by our guide that the tiles were for Founding Members only and you had to be an existing member to qualify for that status.

We just bought 160 points this past Thursday while we were on the Magic and they said we were in the 1000, and would be receiving info on it shortly.

I just talked to my guide today, finalizing my BLT add on and he said that as of today they are full (he had just got the email) ! He's fairly sure we just made it under the deadline since we were complete several days ago but he's double checking for me

This happens with every Founders incentive.

Disney doesn't know what's happening, we don't know what's happening and a year or so down the road the incentive will change anyway.

That's what happened with the AKV Founders Tapestry, it has been changed to something else.
