How Close is AKL To Seeing Out?

Just wondering how close AKL is to selling out... We were thinking of purchasing more points next year when we will be coming into some money (or at least we think).... Do you think there will be points left to purchase next fall 2009?

Don't know if AKV will still be around Fall 2009, though I suspect it will. It has been selling well for over a year now but actually only about a quarter or less of it has already been sold. That is because the new building (which will have the vast majority of units) is still under construction and 90% or more of its units have not yet even been offered for sale

I think you should be okay, as the above poster noted they haven't really started selling the units in the Kidani building yet. Plus a lot of savvy owners will wait until DVC gives some incentives to add-on to AKV.

Actually, based upon the posts that I have seen, they have started to sell Kidani Village within the last month or so. That being said, I agree with the other posters. Only a small portion of Kidani has been declared so far and I suspect that AKV will be available for quite some time. Keep in mind that AKV will be the third largest resort so there will be lots of points to sell.

Even if it does sell out, you can always buy re-sale. There have already been some AKV re-sales.

Thanks everyone... We are really excited for next fall... We would really like to buy additional interest in DVC and hoping it will be AKL... You have all given me some hope.
