I perfer to think Hanson doesn't exist much like "nowhere" doesn't exist according to Emily "because everywhere has to be somewhere."

Try Meeteetse, WY. There's nowhere all around, and it's in the middle of it. Or most small towns in WY, CO or KS.

WOW Chipperdini! My only response ('cause my brain hurt after reading your post:p ) is that when you are 4..... you take EVERYTHING LITERALLY!!!!!

and this is really bothering her!!!!

Come visit me, you'll understand.:D

The middle of nowhere is where OZ is, right ?

Here is a close friends explaination....

you are in the middle of doing something that means you have started doing something and the only way not to be in the middle is to finish and so if you are in the middle of nowhere you are somewhere where there isn't much around but you have to "finish", or leave it and go somewhere else to get out of it

I figured since I was so "taken" with the question, that I'd ask my DH. He says the middle of nowhere is a drug-induced state. ;)

I am NOT sharing THAT with my daughter!!! LOL!!!!

I think if that is one of my choices, Dan's Hanson answer is better for sharing :p

I was just going to ask you what your ponderings were on whether a tree falling in the woods makes noise???

Enlighten us please! ;)

How can you be in the middle of nowhere?

By being equidistant from a bunch of "somewheres"
