how can we get to Fort Wilderness?

We're staying at the Caribbean Beach and the Polynesian and want to go to Fort Wilderness for their campfire, but how do we get there??? Thank you!

Driving or Disney Transportation?

Driving... from CBR...

Make a right when exiting from the CBR...

About a 1 mile down the road make a left... I think this is Bonnet Creek Pky... this is the road that will pass by Port Orleans. Continue past POR and make a left at the light... this is Vista Blvd. This road will bring you past FW. You will come to the visitor parking first. You can park there and take the internal FW bus to the Meadow Trading post.

From the Poly you would go down Seven Seas Dr and make a right on World Drive which then goes right in to Vista Blvd... continue down to FW visitor parking.

If you are taking WDW transportation then you need to first take a bus to one of the parks and then transfer to a FW bus.

From the CBR I would probably take a bus to MGM or possible Epcot. From the Poly make your way to the MK.

Getting back using Disney Transportation may be a bit more difficult depending on if the parks are closed. You may need to make your way to DtD to transfer buses.

Using Disney Transportation...from Carribbean beach ...bus to MK, then boat from MK to FW. From Poly...monorail to MK, then boat to FW. From FW marina it's a short walk to Hoop De Doo Review, and Trails End. Near Hoop De Doo there is an internal FW bus that will drop you off at the campfire movie and singalong.

From CBR, using WDW transportation:

Bus to the Magic Kingdom (assuming MK is still open), then transfer to boat at MK to Fort Wilderness. Reverse this to get back to CBR so long as the MK is still open. If the park is closed when you return, then bus from Fort Wilderness to Downtown Disney, and change there to the CBR bus. Alternative: bus from CBR to any park except MK, then change to the Fort Wilderness bus.

From the Polynesian, using WDW transportation:

Boat (or monorail) from the Polynesian to the MK, transferring there to the boat to Fort Wilderness.
