How can I fix a photo?

I have a great picture of my son riding the ant in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set at MGM, but there is a man drinking
pop that I want to try to make disappear so the picture will be
even better What type of photo editing software do I need to
do this? I have a scanner and it came with Photo Studio. Please
help this non-computer person fix this picture and make the man
with the pop go away

kkloveswdw - you can also use paint shop pro although the software you have can probably do it as well. If you need help, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do....if you'd like, you can send me the photo and I can see what I can do with it.

If your photo editing software has a cloning (sp?) setting you can erase that man right out of the photo. Practice a bit because it take a while to get the hang of it. I have saved some mediocre photos and turned them into great photos by cloning something distracting out of the background.

I have a cloning function on my software, but I have been trying
all morning to get rid of that man drinking the pop, and I can't figure out how to do it---I'm not very patient when it comes to
doing this stuff on the computer! Help!
