how "busy" is VWL at Choice season--Christmas week?

how hard is it to get reservations for 12/21, 22, 23---the "choice" time right before Christmas? I bought at VWL to be able to book at Christmas. Now we are actually planning to go at Christmas in 2009. But, I am nervous about the new booking rules--and not being able to be book day by day--we wouldn't arrive until 12/22/09 (tues), and I am afraid that I will be out of luck from others who booked from Sun or Mon during choice season. Am I worrying for nothing? I want 2 studios, but would be OK, if necessary with a 2 BR. thanks, Elaine

We are at VWL now and they are sold out for the next several weeks according to the Front Desk. VWL is a very popular Christmas resort.

I think those days are going to be very hard to get with a mid week stay. However, there may be people who are looking to leave about the time you want to arrive because that is when it gets crazy busy.

Call right at your 11 month window and book a seven day stay to include your desired nights as the last three days of that reservation. Later you can cancel the first 4 nights of the reservation. I can't imagine why that wouldn't work...?
