How busy is VBR at New Year's?

We are hoping to spend two nights at VB before heading home to SSR for the first time on 1/1/08. Does anyone know how busy it normally is for 12/30 and 12/31 at Vero? DH always HAS to go to the beach for at least a couple days when we go to Florida. I can't book VB until the 7 month mark, but plan on doing so as soon as I can. I'd just like to know if it is likely I'll get what I need (a 1BR). TIA.

It has always been full when we've been there - but you probably will be ok at the 7 mo mark - lots of people this last Easter week were members not at Vero.
