Going last week of October. I'm thinking about doing the dinning plan but don't want to make a lot of ADRs since I'm taking my 4yo DGD and she's so unpredictable. I'd like to be able to eat at Turf Club when I need to without a big wait. I've never been before but I heard the food is excellent!

We had a girls trip in March, and we used the DDP.

There were 4 of us and the other 3 had never been to WDW. We ate at Le Cellier, Ohana, HDDR and Turf Club.

Turf Club was everyone's favorite, so much so, that they all wanted to cancel our Wolfgang Puck reservation to eat there again, so we ended up eating there twice. I was able to make same day resevations for 7pm that evening. Not too many people know about it and it doesnt have characters or a "kiddie" theme so its not the first to book up.

My friend from the East Coast (who makes her own crab cakes) was very impressed with the TC's Crab Cake appetizers. Everything was excellent, the ribs, the caesar salad, the steak, the pasta, ........

Also they thought the service was excellent, especially compared with Le Cellier, where we dined the first night. I thought the service was great too and very friendly.

We were staying at SS over Easter 2007 and had plans for Easter dinner at Chefs De France. We didn't feel like leaving the resort that day so at about 12pm on Easter Sunday we were able to get an ADR for Turf Club for a 6:30pm seating same day. I don't think you'll have a problem at all and the food was D' Lish! :mickeybar

I made ADRs for the Turf's Club for a trip in October. We have a large group (15 people) and it was difficult for us to get an ADR during that time. Couldn;t even get it splitting our table had to make ti for 2 different times 10 min apart. Just figured I would pass that info along. You may want to make and ADR and then cancel if you change your mind.

Same here, we were able to make dinner ressie the same day, it was our last night, really tired and didn't want to leave the resort, had to cancel Chef Mickeys' ADR but no regrets food was great at TC.

We also found it to be same-day reserving, sometimes even same-afternoon, and this was early May. Since you're going during F & W, a lot of the Epcot/Epcot resort restaurants might need advance ADRs, but Turf Club should be fine. (A lot of folks don't even know about this "secret" yet........:ssst: :ssst:)

We have had some wonderful meals there the last few trips, and it is now on our "favorites" list....don't tell anyone though! The food was wonderful!

We were there in May. On mothers day evening we walked right in and got seated with no reservations. Like the others, we liked the restaurant.

We stayed at SSR May 27 thru June 3. Called the day before for a next day reservation for May 30. The only time they had open was for 8:20 pm. We took it, and were glad we did!! The food was fantastic, and the service was great.

Thanks for the replies. My friend that I sent there a couple weeks ago raved on the food too. I can't wait to try it. I love resort restaurants that you don't have to travel to.

Hello: We ate there this past March. Service poor, food fair at best. We ate on the patio. It was the only rest. we said we would not want to return. This was the second time we ate there and the first time wasn't any better but we thought we'd give them another chance. Thanks

shsss, it's suppose to be a secret so we can all get in!!!!!:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Six of us ate there last wk...we did make a dinner ressie..it was early 5:30...they have the best Angus beef burgers ....DH and i also went for lunch and it was fairly empty. I think most are swmming and use the food court.. .Its low key , but beautiful ...great service and overlooks the boat launch to DTD.. There is room on the patio to eat also, but too hot for us...... We really liked SSR ...had a 2 bd rm lock -off in the Springs section...BWV are our home resort and were sad not to get in there, but it was a last minute trip, so we took what we could...we really loved SSR and the main pool is great.

We were there in early May and had to reschedule our time for a different one and had no problems. I thought the food was fine but the place wasn't full and I though the service was really slow.
