How Bumpy is Frozen Ever After?

My DM has a tricky heart with a pacemaker. She is not permitted to be bumped about a great deal. As a consequence she avoids rides with a lot of vibration or tossing about. Remembering the last few years of Maelstrom, the track seemed to provide quite a few jolts and bit of vibration, as well as that one dip (although DM has no problem with a small, smooth dip). Is this still the case with the new ride? We have FPs for Frozen, but I had the horrible thought of taking my DM on something that would cause her grief.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

IMO, FEA is equivalent to Maelstrom, so that is how I'd make my decision I think.

I agree with Mome Rath. The actual track is the one used for Maelstrom - no different. The only difference is the story itself and the resulting staging and animatronics.

The only difference between Maelstrom and FEA is the visuals. The ride mechanics are exactly the same.

Do you have any examples of what she would avoid to help compare it too? If pirates or small world are uncomfortable she should avoid.

She avoids Star Tours but enjoys Pirates. When Maelstrom was in its last few years, it seemed to be running a little roughly on the track. The vibration was a problem and it set off a few palpitations for my DM and her heart.

We rode it for the first time in July and then rode it again this week. I think they may have sped up the water flow and, because of that, there was more bumping than during the summer.

it is a bit "jerky" if that makes sense. I remember getting jostled around a bit roughly as the boat banged against the sides. Maybe one of you could ride it first and see how it is?

I'd play it on the safe , & just forgo it....Why risk anything if it's that close to possibly causing an issue....Plenty of other things to do & see.:teeth:
Either way, have a great time.

Thank you all for the excellent advice! Soarin' it is!

Good idea, just to be safe. I also remember when we were going backwards, it comes to an abrupt halt and everyone on the boat went, "ugh" it was so hard. Someone in the back of our boat yelled out "SMOOOOOOOOOTH!"
