How big is your...

Donnie,
I looked at some of the pop up toy haulers as well but I really want a bathroom in mine. Another thing I'm checking into is if you're allowed to have a hybrid in the 1500 or 2000 loops. There's been times we've wanted to stay at the fort but they only had partials and we can't do that now.

We were in the 2000 loop in early December and we backed up to the service road. After the first day we were almost the only ones on our side. There were several large TT there and one MH. We saw a site with a lone 2 person tent and nothing else on up to a MH. I would think as long as you can fit into the site and don't need the hook-up...why not.

Well, mine is HUGE! Just ask my Wife. Well, second thought...don't.;)

We own a 39' Fiver Toy Hauler and love it.

Gatordad has made a few sites wider and longer with his first fiver so just ask him which sites he has camped in and they are "back in ready".:scared1:

I thought he made the sites pull through!:lmao:

We had a 21' KIWI hybrid and it was great. We loved the full bath and it was very spacious once the beds were out. It was really spacious when we had them pulled in as well. We really didn't want to get rid of it, but we couldn't refuse the wonderful deal we got on the motorhome. Good luck Stack!

My pop up is a 12 foot box with a 2 foot trunk on the front. Opens up to a 26 footer, easy towing better gas mpg. Lots of room even has a slide out.

We just went from a pop-up with a 10' box to an 18' TT. And it is amazing the difference in backing them into a site. The longer trailer with the dual wheels is so much easier.

The thing about the hybrid is it has a full bath which I like. It doesn't look like a ton of work to get the beds extended out either. The other thing about this model is that the 4 wheelers or whatever you're carrying is outside and the gas fumes won't be in the trailer. I'll know tomorrow after seeing the models I'm looking at whether it's for me or not. I'm in the I want to do more and have less mode. Unfortunately so are a lot of people and that's why the economy is in a slump because everybody is holding out on major purchases right now. I saw a Chevy commercial this morning with a $5,200 rebate on Silverado's. Reminds me how after 911 everybody was discounting stuff or financing stuff to get buyers in the door.

This may only be true with my Ford but weight really dose not affect my mpg as bad as wind resistance. With a pop up not much wind resistance but with a hybrid you would still get wind resistance so I would thank. Plus with the loss of trading in your new 5er would you save anything:confused3 Now if you just want a new trailer then go for it. I had the same thoughts on geting a hybrid for awhile but then decided the heck with I want room. Have fun shopping we always do. (until we get the payment book :scared: )

Until recently we had a 38 ft 5er. It was suprisingly easy to back in once you got used to the fact that it didn't jacknife instantly. we just upgraded to a 34 ft MH but I don't know how it will do at Disney,,,,but I will let everyone know in a couple of days... :woohoo:

I've just got my little old PUP, a 93 Coleman Rio Grande which is plenty big enough since many of my trips are solo or with just one other person. If I go with a group we use my friends 32' Bunkhouse. I tow with my 99 GMC Sierria 1500 5.3L which has highway gearing (under 2000 rpm at 70 mph). I get 17 mpg city, 20 mpg highway and 17 mpg towing. Not bad for a truck with 197,000 miles which has never given me any trouble. The best part is they're both paid for and have been for some time now.

Have a 29ft Travel Trailer and it is much easier to back than my 12 ft utility trailer. I'd rather back the TT any day.
