How bad will it be in December with CBR closed?

We have reservations to stay at PO-R from Dec 10th thru 14th. My DH and I alway go this time of the year because we like the fact that there are so few crowds. That is also why we chose PO-R for the quiet peaceful atmosphere we heard so much about.

And now I find out that with CBR being closed, everyone is being bumbed to PO and CSR.

I am a little mad at AAA travel for not telling us about this, this could have a huge impact on our vacation.

And that's what I wanted to ask you guys, do you think it will make that big of a difference? Will PO-R be packed full with people?

This could just be my lucky day in another way because now I have an excuse to upgrade to a Deluxe, but I am not crazy about the inconvenience we have to go through.

thanks!

From reading all the posts more people are taking advantage of the upgrades to the Poly and AKL....if anything the Poly seems to have most of the uprooted CBR guests.

I really don't think you'll see a big difference. From what I've been reading, the CBR was only about half full for that period of time. Most of the guests have been transferred to Poly (including me!), AKL, and Coronado.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!

I doubt it will be bad at all. Last December, POFQ was closed and I visited CBR and there were sections of Barbados and Trinidad South closed. I stayed at AKL and it was not crowded at all.
