days in Disney with the kids?

We have two boys 4 & 6 - we just booked the free dining for August and this is what i'm thinking. Any opinions are WELCOME.

Sunday - arrival stay in hotel (CBR) and TS dinner at Shutters.

Monday- Hit Epcot at opening have lunch at garden grill head back to hotel late afternoon go for swim eat.

Tuesday - Magic Kingdom - at opening (any tips on which part to hit in the am?) we are having lunch at the Plaza at 1pm and probably stay in the parks till after dnr.

Wednesday - MGM - arrive late morning have a 2;30PM LUNCH AT Sci Fi and will stay for fantasmic - planning on bringing in food while waiting for the show.

Thursday - is my planned down day - assuming we'll need it -

Friday - AK arrive at opening have a 5:45p dinner resrvation at Boma.

Saturday - MK probably get there sometime in the morning having dinner at Chef Mickey then hoping to go back to the park for Fire works.

Sunday - not sure if we'll hit a park in the am or not going to Epcot for Dinner at Coral Reef 6pm and stay for the fireworks

Monday we go home but our flight is about 4pm maybe go to MK for the morning if we can get up early.

I do have park hoppers if needed - thinking i probaby wasted some $$ but you never know..........

It sounds like you're eating at some great places. We're arriving for a week on August 13...we'll be eating dinner at Chef Mickey's twice that week.

The major difference between your family's plans & mine is that we will not be at any park from morning thru the evening...we're allowing for swimming breaks each day. We will be going back to the hotel or TL/BB each day for swimming. I know my family will never last in a park all day in the Florida heat/humidity.

We plan on hitting a park each day at opening...staying til 11:00 or 12:00, then driving straight to TL or BB. Then back to the hotel to clean up, then an ADR for dinner & another park (park hoppers).

Of course, if we get there & it looks like the waterparks get filled up each day before lunch, we'll hit the waterparks first...then do one of the 4 major parks.

We can't wait to get there!!

I am going July 23-29 with DD6. Here is my plan:

Sun. July 23: Arrive 12:50m, check in, hit MK and Chef Mickey's for dinner.
Mon. July 24: Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table in MK, stay in Mk for awahile then move to MGM, dinner at Sci-Fi.
Tues. July 25: AK (of course hit EE and Safari) transfer to Epcot after AK closes for dinner at Garden Grill.
Wed. July 26: MGM all day. Dinner at Hollywood & Vine. Fantasmic.
Thu. July 27: Epcot all day with dinner at Coral Reef.
Fri. July 28: Downtown Disney. Morning appt. at Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique, Lunch at Planet Hollywood. Shopping!!! Then back to MK
Sat. July 29: Departure day (but plane leaves at 6:00) so plenty of time to hit either MK or EMH at AK before we leave!!!!!!

I know we are cramming alot in, but I can't wait!!!!!!!!
