How are they about changing reservations?

As expected, DH is not getting home the day he planned. The military has never once given him the day off that he requested. They always manage to change it somehow so it is impossible to plan anything. He is now supposed to get hom from afghanistan some time on the 11th and arrive in GA. We live in PA so he will also need time to get to PA from GA. No one has any idea when his ticket times are or anything. He is just guessing it will be sometime on the 11th when he finally gets home. The origional plan was he was to be home on the 9th and we were to leave for disney on the 11th and get their on the 13th. Will be be able to call the day before if needed and tell them we will be a late check in if it comes to that? What if something comes up that we don't get their till the 14th? What if we wanted to add another day ticket to the parks or another day at the resort to the end of the trip? I ordered a package online thru the disney site. Since he is not getting home till the 11th, that means he will be home a few more days at the end of the trip. WWYD?

Give Disney a call ASAP, explain your situation and see what they can do for you. Unfortunately, the military doesn't make it easy for families to plan too far ahead for vacation time. I hope Disney can be flexible and help you out. Your family deserves it.

Is there any way you can meet him in GA and just go from there? I had to do that once when I was an Army wife and it worked out OK.
