YAY! an update! How fun to see your DLP trip! Thanks for sharing all the pics. Is the area where the "dwarf store" is inside the castle? I have always thought the castles should be interesting and fun instead of just a walk way. Don't stay away too long!

The DL hotel looks really nice. I love all the detail, thanks for taking the time to take all those pics - I never wanted to stay there, but your photos really make me think about spending a few nights there.
We already have a booking in place for April in the villa where we usually stay, but maybe we could fit in a few days in the fall.

I love riding the train around and the leisurely pace you are taking to explore is just so nice!

You are gonna have a blast for the 20th Anniversary Celebrations. A tip for you, they are going to be doing evening shows where you need tickets for them, no ticket no show. So make sure you enquire about getting some as from what we were told/heard DLRP are going all out!

Looks good so far guys! Dave, you're really getting the hand of that camera of yours! How is it carrying around the parks, weight wise? That lens adds a little bit huh? Every once in a while, throw on the kit lens just to see how light it gets.

Just out of curiosity, how would you rate the difficulty of getting around for someone who only speaks English?

Thanks The language barrier wasn't too bad, most CM's speak English, but we had the odd few that had to get someone else to help us out.

Oooh, I've never read a Disneyland Paris TR, this is exciting!

I love how the train lets you out right in front of the resort!! Even better that a CM came inside the train to hand out packages, speeds up the process.

Everything looks so nice and different. I had heard of but never seen the dragon. And so many places to explore. Wow! I really hope one day we get the chance to visit all Disney parks around the globe, but I doubt that'll happen unless we win the lottery...

Thanks It is handy when the CM's come round the train as you can basically go straight to the parks

The dragon was pretty cool and only just started working properly last year I think. Or it got refurbed slightly

Visiting all the parks around the globe would be a dream wouldn't it Don't give up because you never know what is around the corner

Love the DLRP pictures. I am hoping that we will be making a stop there on our trip to Europe in July.

BTW, I LOVE Revenge. Obsessed with it actually.

What a wonderful update on your trip to Disneyland Paris. The hotel room looks really pretty, and I love that you just wandered the parks and skipped the rides and took all those beautiful pictures (especially since I'll never get there ).

I love the DLH, is so pretty and the smell as well when you walk in, like talcum powder. Was really nice to walk into that when coming in from the cold.

Looking forward to the pics! I guess I get mixed up about the castle, because at DLR in Calif. you do walk through the castle to Fantastyland, which is cool, but there is nothing in there except a restroom.

How are we all doing today? Can't believe it is Monday already, bleugh

Well how about I start your Monday morning off with more DLRP pics?

We left off with us wandering the park taking photos. We had come to the Agrabah part of the park and our next stop was Aladdin.

This is basically a walk through of scenes from Aladdin

Is not a bad little walkthrough and the scenes are pretty cool and its very well themed in there.

We wandered around a store opposite and then headed back towards the Castle. I saw this and wanted some pics.

I started playing around walking on the stones and with me and my terrible balance apparently Dave thought it was amusing to capture this on camera

Dave decided he would do a self portrait and set the timer, here's the result...

Dumbo, I was like I could have done that for you So I did

A daughter and her mother asked Dave if they would take their pic with the castle, so while he was doing that I played around with his camera

The daughter very kindly offered to take our picture.

Am gonna leave it there for now, as I have to get ready for work.

Morning All

How are we all doing?

Thought I would start the morning off again with another update for you

Last we left off we had just left Agrabah and taken some more photos in front of the castle.

Next we headed over to Discoveryland.

We stopped off in one of the stores to look around, gotta say there wasn't that much Stitch worthy merchandise this year

Can you get this in WDW?

Browsing done, we went back outside to get more pics. I love this, is so cute and what a way to liven up a normal everyday type sign.

Buzz was down for a refurb this trip, so we didn't get to try it out to see what the difference was from the WDW ride.

There is a story behind what this is, but its too early for me to remember. Dave maybe you can chime in?

We sat down for a bit, as my feet were starting to hurt. It may not look like it from the photos, but we had done a major amount of walking since we got there. Disneyland Park is a huge park! Anywho, back to the pics, we sat down and messed around a little taking pics. Note you can just about see us in the mirror?

We stumbled across Wall:E and Eve

Not sure if they light up at night, but would be v cool if they did right

We walked into the Star Wars shop and I found some bargains in there on sale. Stitch Zodiac Sign keyrings (pics later). We also saw these vinyls.

I have started to collect these ones

I was getting pretty knackered by now and we decided to head back to the hotel to chill and then head back out for dinner. Here is a pic of the lobby. Our room was very conveniently located on the first floor and a few doors down from the beginning of the corridor. Score!

Rested and hungry, we decided to head over to the Disney Village. I wanted to get a shot of the hotel in the evening as its so prettily lit up.

Dinner tonight was at...

I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ

Dave went for the Earl Club

These were delicious and really hit the spot. Gotta say Earl here is a lot more smooth running than DTD, but then it does help when it isn't crazy busy :Teeth:

Bellies full, we walked around for a little bit and looked around the shops. I love this display in the art store.

Then it was back to the hotel to chill and have a nice relaxing bath

Am gonna leave it there for now, work beckons. Have a good day everyone

It is a gorgeous resort and was so pretty all lit up. It stretched the whole way across and was all twinkly

Thanks so much for the DLP updates and all of the pictures! DLP definitel has the best castle. Not only is it beautiful from the outside, but the "innards" are interesting as well!
