How are people doing etting A&E FP+

Part of my problem is probably that - despite knowing it is a good idea - I have not done as you suggest and switched my 7DMT slot to late in the day (to open up morning availability). I currently have it for mid-day and when I click to see what alternate times are available, everything that appears is late in the evening. So I hesitate to lose that nice time slot in a quest for an earlier A&E...only to then find I am shut out of earlier Mine Train, which would defeat the whole purpose.

I hesitated to do it, too, but then just decided to try it and see what would happen. It does feel like gambling, though...I was paranoid about it and moved that sucker back to the morning as quickly as I could! They should give out poker chips when you book a Disney vacation.

That's exactly how I put it to my husband: "Do we feel like gambling?"

I feel like I would move it and then end up right back where I started - trying to grab individual overlapping times, but this time for the Mine Train.

At least I've learned to be verrrrrry careful when I try the (thus far unsuccessful) "copy" maneuver. The first time I did it I hit all the way through before realizing it had replaced the two Anna and Elsa FP I was trying to copy with Enchanted Tales with Belle...so now we all had ETWB, even the two of us for whom I had managed to get A&E.

I got them for Aug 23.

I have a party of 6 and had to do each person 1 at a time to get them. I am really spread out with start times at 620, 630, 700, 710, 720, 730.

And I have a 615 ADR.

Going to be a fun time getting it all done.


Looked to change them today(yesterday there was only the option of a 540 time) and today there is nothing available.

We had no issues on our 60 day out date, and not even at midnight....I did it around 5 am. We got FP+ for the 4 of us and for the 2nd day of our 11 day trip.

I booked at midnight 60 days out and I was able to get A&E for 4 for the first full day of the trip and again towards the end of our trip. When I went to modify times, I could see that there were still tons of time slots available. Get up at midnight (though it night be 1 am now) the first day of your booking window and make A&E the first thing you book and you should be fine.

I went online at 10 min after midnight of our 60 day date, and our first MK day, 08/29, was already Standby Only!

Fortunately, we were able to get our second MK day, 09/2, with no problem.

Just curious what the success rate is. Staying at the Contemporary 11/13-11/20 and our FP+ window opens 9/14. Are folks having good luck in securing the FP+ to meet the ladies of Frozen or is it similar to BOG dinner reservations, which are very hard to come by?

I have 2 daughters that really want to meet them.

We are going to WDW 8/15-8/24. We were up at midnight, fingers ready, on our 60 day window. We will be at MK on 8/18 and 8/22. Was fully prepared to not get anything on 8/18, but we scored big time with 9:30am FP+'s for 12!! Just be ready at midnight on your 60 day, ready to go! Good luck!

I too waited up until 1am. I was able to get my choice of days and times for 4 people! No problems at all!

Booked for Aug 24-Sept 1 at 1 am on the first available day. Earliest time available on ANY day was 1:50 pm. Haven't been able to change anything since the night I booked them.

I just booked mine (booked at 7am the day my window opened) and there was no availability toward the beginning of my trip, but plenty at the end. Just make sure you have an MK day at the end of the trip and be flexible on times.

I got an Anna and Elsa fastpass + no problems at 60 days out.. lots of choices for times. However, I couldn't move it at all.

We were at MK on Sunday and went the kiosk to get our "6th" fastpass+ option of day. Low and behold, Anna and Elsa popped up with a window that was 20 minutes away!! We booked it immediately, and I cancelled my other one so that someone else could have it. It was in the evening, around 8:30pm.

Anyway, moral of the story - keep trying even if your trip has already begun!

You window is suppose to open at 60 days around midnight. It seems that some of us were unable to actually book until 1am. Me included...

I just kept myself busy read DIS and at exactly 1am booked my A&E. We will be in MK 3 days - I had choices for A&E for each day.. My dates are Aug 22-30.
