How are people doing etting A&E FP+

Just curious what the success rate is. Staying at the Contemporary 11/13-11/20 and our FP+ window opens 9/14. Are folks having good luck in securing the FP+ to meet the ladies of Frozen or is it similar to BOG dinner reservations, which are very hard to come by?

I have 2 daughters that really want to meet them.

On the night I booked FP+ my window opened at 1am and they were gone for every single day we are supposed to be in the parks. However I have read that more availabilities open up as you get closer to your trip date, so if they aren't there on 09/14, keep trying.

I am going August 20-27 and I just recently made my fast pass selections. I was up at midnight at the 60 day mark. We are going to MK on the 21st and the 26th. The 21st was out of tickets but the 26th had lots of availability and we basically had the choice of anytime we wanted. If you have a day planned towards the end of your trip you should be able to get one.

I had no trouble getting them but was only going for 1 person (it's just me and my 2 yo DD on our next trip). A DIS friend, however, is traveling with his wife & DD (and DS who is 2 so no ticket, and a baby). He was not able to get 3 FP together 2 days into his trip for the same time as me (around 11AM) but he was, however, able to get them all together on the last day of his trip (I think around 4PM).

He first tried booking the time just for him, then copying his FP selections to his wife and daughter. He was able to copy 1 successfully and then copying again gave a slightly different time, but not overlapping unfortunately.

Sorry this was long winded - moral of the story is the more people you have, the tougher it will be.

That being said - I went on a totally last minute trip in June with a friend - and we were able to secure two different days of FP reservations (for 2) about a week out after checking multiple times a day.

I have 2 daughters that really want to meet them.

I got mine without a problem I want to say 3 weeks out. Had a large choice of times. Maybe I was just lucky. One of my dates includes the 4th of July though and I got that with no issue.

Keep in mind I only needed a single person spot, which may have helped.

I was a little surprised how hard it was but i got we got it.

The smaller the party the more times available. Its much easier to edit the fp+ after you have your first 3.

We're a party of 5 and we had make a FP+ for 1 and then copy the selections to the others in our party at 60 days out. Tried searching for our party of 5 together and A&E was not an option. Using the copy option, we got 5 FP+ and the time they all overlap is 6:40 p.m.

I got mine without issue logging in at midnight right at the 60 day mark. Almost all times were available.

I booked last Thursday for August 7-17 and found ONE A&E Fastpass slot for 4 people for the last day we're in the parks.

I was able to book for 4 pp at the 60 days midnight mark for a 10:20am slot. 2 days later, after the missing Elsa episode, I was able to obtain a 5:10pm for 2. Didn't check for 4 pp as it was a back up plan.

Oh boy, we have 7, and I'm starting to get worried. I am hoping since we are there 10 days, we can get it. We are at MK on our 10th day, so hopefully I can get it our last day at least. But I know DD is going to want to do it first. I will be happy with the 10th though. We were able to score BOG because of the 10 days. On the last day too. Have a few weeks still until our 60 day mark.

hmmm....I got one no problem when I booked at 6am of our 60 day window. Granted there was no am availability but I snagged one for the afternoon. I even was able to modify the times a few times.

We are a party of 4 and we are going August 17-23.

This is key. When I tried for all 4, I only got late afternoon/early evening times (not ideal for us). So I accepted that, but then went in individually and set the times individually. FWIW, copying didn't work for me (kept bumping us to early afternoon, which I didn't want), but when I set each time individually, I was able to get all four of us in overlapping windows that worked. We're only going to be in the MK one day, on August 30th, and there were no issues getting ours, and that's on a Saturday of a holiday weekend with EMH.

My window opened at 1:00am, not midnight, and that might have hurt me. There was no availability at all for our first MK day, and only four slots - all in the evening - for our second day. We have a party of 5.

I kept seeing people saying they are finding individual slots and being able to merge/copy into one group. I have not been so lucky. Every time I have tried to copy (even copying just to one person), I have not succeeded - it has refused and offered me an alternate selection (either ETWB or meeting Mickey).

Until today (one week after our window opened) I have also had no luck finding individual slots. Today I've managed to scoop up three. So now I have two people whose times cross, and another individual an hour later. I guess I'll just keep going in and trying to get lucky until I can work all five of us into one time slot - a feat that seems more reasonable after today.

I've been trying to do the pick up 1 here, pick up 1 there thing but until today had had absolutely no luck. Nothing at all had been available. Today I have now managed to pick up 4 mid-afternoon slots that overlap with a good half hour overlap. I don't know why today this suddenly happened, but I am pleased! If I can't get one more slot then my husband will skip it (and won't mind one bit). But the flurry today has made me hopeful that maybe it will work out to get 5 that overlap.

Part of my problem is probably that - despite knowing it is a good idea - I have not done as you suggest and switched my 7DMT slot to late in the day (to open up morning availability). I currently have it for mid-day and when I click to see what alternate times are available, everything that appears is late in the evening. So I hesitate to lose that nice time slot in a quest for an earlier A&E...only to then find I am shut out of earlier Mine Train, which would defeat the whole purpose.
