How are crowds on rides during MNSSHP?

I've been to a few September parties (my favorite time to go to MNSSHP, by the way). Most rides are going to be walk-on or very short lines, like 5-10 mins. Popular rides like 7DMT will always tend to have some level of line, like 15-30 minutes. Slower loading rides like PP or the speedway may be like 10-20.

You may see a rush on rides after things like the parade and fireworks, but that moves through pretty quickly.

Party crowds can feel very "lumpy" at times. You'll be in the hub and it'll be a zoo, but you can go ride Barnstormer three times in a row with no one else around. It's an odd feeling.

My true love of the parties - in addition to the cool vibe, music, special events - is the short lines!

Hope that helps.

Trying to determine if rides are walk on during a MNSSHP, specifically in mid-September. TIA

Our experience has been that ride lines tend to be short or walk on, and that is even more true later in the night and during the parade and fireworks. Earlier in the night, lines might not be as short. Most people at the party tend to gravitate toward the dance parties, character meet and greets, show, parade and fireworks with rides being the lowest priority.

@GADisneyDad14 that is exactly the information I was wanting to hear. Thanks!!

:thumbsup2

BTW, one other thing I'll point out. With no FP's, you'll be amazed how fast a normal standby line can move. Things like 7DMT will move MUCH MUCH quicker than the normal standby line since you're not sharing capacity with the FP folks. So even if a line "looks" long, it's going to move a bit quicker than you think.

Hope you have a great time!

Absolutely love the Halloween Party! My husband and son rode Space Mountain 3 times back to back with no wait while DD and I danced with Stitch and Goofy. It was an awesome experience and so worth it!

The Halloween Party and Christmas Party nights are awesome! and if you wait it out until after the 1st parade (if they still have 2...i think they do), it's a ghost town, no pun intended

We went to a Thurs night party on Oct 20th last year. Almost all the rides were walk on. 7DMT had a 20 min wait time posted, but it ended up being less than that. We were amazed at how many rides we got on and still watched the fireworks and second parade.
