Today I talked DFi into going 3/1-3/5 for a short trip :Pinkbounc mostly to make up for the days we cut off on our December trip due to my illness. I looked at touring plans.com and looks like 6's and 7's for these days. This is the first time with lower numbers that I have a chance to get my AP discount and go. Is it giong to be wall to wall people and really long waits? Am I crazy or should we go for it?

The other dates I am looking at are 2/4-2/9 and 1/31-2/4? The regular rates for these dates is actuall less than with my AP rate on 3/1. Should I try to move it to one of these weeks?

Thanks

We have visited the first week in March for the last three years and plan on doing so againg this year (Feb. 28th -- Mar. 7th). We find the crowds very manageable -- it seems to be after the President's Day crowds and before heavy spring break traffic.

We went this March from 3/5-3/12. The crowds were extremely manageable, like nothing I ever experienced before! (I'm used to going in the summer months). We never waited for more than 20 minutes on line or used FP until our last day in the park (3/11). Kids arrived the night before for a competition. But even then, the FP was for Test Track and everything else seemed pretty manageable. Have a great time! I'm jealous-- not going until May!

So far the first week of March has been my favorite out of May, August, and September. We're getting ready to try WDW in January so we'll see. I think the crowds are very manageable, the weather has been beautiful and I've never had a problem with getting good sales on flights. Good luck!!

Glad to hear the first week of March is managable. We always go off season so this was a big step for us to go at Peak.We just got back early Dec and DH is beside himself with withdrawl. So we figured out a way to go this week(Feb 28 - Mar7) as I'm off from work.Plus here in Vermont the schools shut down for that Mon and Tues for "Town Meeting Day".
Thanks for the GREAT news :earboy2:

Our schools are on winter break that week (Feb 27-Mar 5). I think most of the state of NH has break that week. Our flights are already booked, but most of SW's flights are nearing capacity due to the break. We're not visiting the World this time though - just my in-laws in central FL. Since we're pretty much the only state on break, it shouldn't affect WDW crowds too significantly.

That would make alot of sense gottaluvdis
DH has been glued to the SW web site for 2 weeks trying to get the best price. And figuring out what week to go.We always fly out of Manchester on SW and all the good deals and flights are gone. But SW pops in a few now and then once the other price ranges have filled a little. So we're crossing our fingers.I would hate to pay over $1000 for the exact same flight we did in Dec for $485(4 people)That's what makes it possible to go to WDW so often.
Thanks
