I'm really loving all of the Festival of The Lion King pictures the past few days... I have never seen it and really want to this trip...does anybody know how many times a day they do it? and how early do we need to get there to get a seat? Thanks!

Hey eeyoresnr! You totally have to see it your next trip, I promise you will love it! They generally do 5-8 shows a day. Get there about 30 minutes ahead of time (more like 45 if you are going at a very crowded time).

I used to work at FOLK and while many folks on the board will tell you there is no need to show up more than 10 minutes early but I would definitely suggest the 30 minutes to get primo seating for the show!

According to my September Times-Guide for AK:

Wow, you're going to love it! :) :simba:

You can check Steve Soares' web site as your trip gets closer to check the times. :thumbsup2

When was this taken? IN all seven of our trips and our countless trips on the
"2 week" Safari. I have never seen a actual cast member by Lil' Red. Awesome.

the picture was taken July 2000, and yes they no longer have the cast member posted at this scene .
