flyingcat.most of the time around here when people find out we are going back we get that look.....
i was glad i finaly saw a dvc sticker in macon the other day.
its funny how everyone gives directions from atlanta---2 hours south/1 hour north ect...
we should all change to the distance from wdw.
im about 5/6 hours away depending on how long its been since we have been.

Thats too funny. We also get that LOOK! Going again.

Flyingcat, We lived in Griffin for 7 yrs before we moved back to newnan area. Technically we are from Sharpsburg but more people know Newnan and that is a good reference point. We miss being from the Griffin side/mcdonough side when we were there as we were so close to 75. Oh well. It's all good in the dis/wdw world!!

I know Sharpsburg well. My grandmother is from Sharpsburg. I tell people we are from Griffin but we actually live in Williamson which is about 5 miles west of Griffin. We tell people we live in Griffin because most people have never heard of Williamson. I think we have a population of less than 300 people. It's so nice to see so many fellow GA , DVC freaks .

Going back, split stay @ BCV May 30-June 2 and AKV June 2-6.

Going to BWV 6/13/10, doing The Dream 6/3/11 (hopefully it won't rain the whole trip)

Own at SSR since 2007 and LOVE every minute of it.

We too get the dumb look when we tell people we are going back to the world again. Offered to take family once they declined, so that was the last time all the more fun for us. Took our DD's friend once, won't do that again until they can drive themselves home.

My friends who live in Villa Rica are curently at DVC HHI right now. They are enjoying their stay so far (they arrived yesterday).

That's the first DVC resort the hubster and I ever satyed at, and we weren't members then. Yes, the aforementioned friends took us, and got us into the DVC cult. LOL!

We're from the big metropolis of Jeffersonville!! Seriously, as far as I know there are no red lights in the whole county. The location is geographically the center of Georgia. We've been members since 2005, try to go to WDW twice per year and hit HHI during the summer. We'll be there in a couple of weeks!

We're from Marietta, and we've been DVC owners at AKV since 2007. Nice to meet y'all!

Right now we're planning our annual November/December Disney trip at AKV (waitlisted for BWV) for 11/27-12/4, then we're doing a couple of nights at the Poly 12/4-12/7. We're also planning a long weekend in August so DH can go to the Last Tour to Endor event (he loves Star Wars), but I'm not sure where we'll stay for that trip yet.
