How 1 trip turned to 2 and now turning into 3!! Update Pg 40 Days 3, 4 and 5!!

Don't worry about it...we always manage to figure everything out so it's all good!

You're not old! Just lots of drama...it's hard having two bosses with very different plans/goals for you-especially when they're writing your evaluation.

My "fun" for today (since I didn't take a lunch due to too much work!) was booking a co-worker a dinner cruise for Friday night. She's taking her husband out for their anniversary! She's very excited and I can't wait to hear all about it when she gets back on Monday. She's such a super friend (like my DIS friends!) and truly a person I strive very much to be like every day-caring about others, putting them before yourself, being just a wonderful person.

Ok...enough rambling tonight...I need to get some sleep.

Not a big deal...crappy days happen. Any kind of drama sucks altogether really!

Doing alright....dragging butt today! This morning Corbin had Carter up at 4:30 He was going to the bathroom and yelling at Carter "hold on buggie-I'll be right there" which only made Carter scream more. Then he started yelling "it'll be ok I promise. I'm coming right back." It was so cute but not so much at 4:30 this morning...Mommy needs a nap today! The boys are coming back to the station with me tonight so I can go to my auxiliary meeting since I really don't want to pay a sitter tonight if I don't need to.

I need to make a couple of phone calls today. When I booked my friend's dinner cruise yesterday for tomorrow night I gave them my debit card to send a bottle of wine to her dinner (she loves wine so that'll be good!). I gave her the card this morning and just told her she'd be getting a "surprise". I still need to call the restraunt we're eating at tomorrow night to see if I can do something for our birthday girl we're celebrating. I also need to check with our nanny to see what my curfew is! I don't know how long I'll make it being woken up at the crack of dawn-or before-every morning! Thank goodness tomorrow's payday with all of these big plans!

Tomorrow I need to call and order pizza for dinner for the kids and try to figure out pay per view movies for them or record something onto the DVR for them to watch tomorrow night. Dan took the xbox (which serves as our DVD player) to MD with them so I'm kind of limited on what I can do...

Alrighty....I need to get to work and get my "fun" stuff done. I tried to get on the Disney site last night to check prices for our friends and it wasn't cooperating with me so I've got to try again tonight.

No plane tickets yet...I probably won't book anything until Dan gets back unless I find an amazing deal I can't pass up.

One more week....Dan and his friend are going to a football game on Sunday (don't ask me who....I don't know and honestly, don't much care.) He took the point and shoot camera so I'll post a picture or two when they get back in case anyone's interested I need to walk down the hall and see what time their class gets done on Friday to see when they'll be home. I'm thinking some time on Saturday but I don't want to start planning stuff to do if they're going to be home. The boys will just want him to stay at home I'm sure for awhile.

It's pouring down rain here....they've got all kinds of warnings out about hail and flooding and stuff. Hopefully it blows over by the time I leave! I had just gotten back from "lunch" (I was gone about 20 minutes) when it started pouring!

It should be a fun weekend!! I'm really hoping we'll get out early tomorrow-we're lucky enough to have a boss that used to send us home about 1:00 or so every Friday. He hasn't been here the past couple of weeks so it's been 4 or 4:30 when we head out. I'm ready for an early day out of here! I do need to get ready to party!!

Still need to get a cake for the birthday party (called and ok'd with the restraunt).

Well make sure your son gets better...we can't have any more injuries in your family! I think you've had enough for a VERY long time!

Tonight at our auxiliary meeting "majority" nominated me to be the president next year! I've only lived here for 8 months folks! Now I've got to think about that!

The guys also came in and told us to be careful where we walked. We didn't know what they were talking about (some of the guys have search and rescue dogs they bring in but none of them were on shift tonight). They brought in a rake thingy with a dead water moccosan (sp??) on it! They said that's the third one they've killed there recently! Ok first off, I'm terrified at snakes and will only be using the frint door from now on! Secondly, makes me rethink wearing flip flops to work every day! One of the guys actually stepped on it-that's how they found it. Anywho, more care is needed in that area I guess on my part...I wouldn't want to step on one that's for darn sure!

Alright...I'm hoping Corbin will be asleep soon so that I can go to bed....have a wonderful night everyone!

Ok so I talked to Angie (wife going with us in Dec) and am trying to help her find a hotel in Dec. AP rates show values for $54/night which is great! They're staying 12/14-16 so I need to call now and see what's available. She also asked about the dining plan to see if it was worth it for them. I need to spend some time this weekend sitting down and going through all of our plans to see what the cost will be OOP and with the DDP. I was lucky enough to receive a link to a spreadsheet that will help calculate the costs of the meals vs. the cost of the dining plan. I'm excited to sit down and play with it a little bit!

Tonight's the big party night...should be pretty fun!

Thank Goodness It's Friday! I'm hoping we get sent home early today!



I talked to my other friend regarding the adoption. The mom had an ultrasound this week and she's having a girl which is very exciting! She's looking to make a decision about what she wants to do in the next few weeks so we should know one way or the other very soon.

I PROMISE to sit down this weekend and give you a real Disney update-I've been such a darn slacker! You'll get a good update I promise!

I know...life's been busy this week.....BUT.....it just got better! We're all going home at NOON today!! It too a little sweet talking but it was worth it! Hopefully I'll be able to take a nap with the boys before going out tonight! (Gosh I feel so old for saying that!).

I'm glad that you encouraged my to call CRO. First, they didn't even have any record of my changed reservation. They still had my original dates and total amount. Then I told her about not receiving an email confirmation and they had my email wrong too! So, then I made sure that there wasn't two reservations in my name because I wrote down the guys name and what he told me. Nope, only the one reservation. Thank goodness. I still don't see a confirmation email, so if I don't get one today, I'm going to keep calling until I do!!!
