We have reservations for HOB on Oct 18th for 7pm and booked because the menu has many different options that my family enjoys. I was just wondering if anyone has any pics of the food here. Also we will be coming from AK that day and am wondering what is the best and quickest way to get there. Don't want to be late. We plan on leaving the park at 5 when it closes.

TIA :)

I remember doing a little research on the transportation. My understanding is there is a bus from AK that takes you directly to Downtown Disney. If you are using disney transporation (staying at a resort), you will be able to use resort buses from downtown disney to get back to your resort.

I'm also curious about pictures. I chose an ADR here in September because we wanted to spend an evening downtown. I have heard a lot of really good things and then so so things, so hopefully others can chime in.

Unfortunately this is incorrect. There are no buses between DTD and any theme park. You will need to transfer at a resort.

You could choose the closest resort to AK (probably AKL) or the closest resort to DTD (Saratoga Springs.) Note the buses make multiple stops at both resorts. Or you can choose to transfer at the only resorts that don't have multiple bus stops - Pop Century and AOA. These buses may also stop at Blizzard Beach though. Give yourself at least an hour to make the trip - an hour and a half is usually pretty safe.

AKL only has two stops, Jambo House and Kidani, whereas SSR has, I believe, 5 stops. The SSR bus will also stop at Blizzard Beach. When you get on the DTD bus from AKL, it stops at Typhoon Lagoon but I'm pretty sure that on the way to DTD that's after it drops you off. So in my opinion, I would just take the bus to AKL, then transfer to the DTD bus - two hours will give you plenty of time. We just ate there in May and loved it, although I do miss the old menu with the yummy, cheesy pizza they used to have. They do have good flatbreads though, DH adored their wings (had them twice last trip), and the bacon cheeseburger was awesome. Sorry, no pics to share!
