Hotwire question :)

I found a great rate on Hotwire for a standard car rental from April 13-20. The price it listed for me is:

186.52 includes all applicable tax recovery charges and fees (unlimited miles)

Is that the total price? The "tax recovery" thing has me questioning.

Anyone have good experience using Hotwire? The price seems too good to be true compared to the rates I was finding a month ago going to the individual rental company sites.

Any fees in Hotwire's (or Priceline's) pricing are normal and typical.

Did you try comparing that rate with individual companies? Especially try various rental agencies using discount codes found at mousesavers.com

Typically when I travel to other places, I would wait to book via Hotwire for a car until about a week before my travel date. But since I've never done April school vacation week in orlando (typically staying onsite), not sure if I should wait or book now. What has your experience with Hotwire been?
