Hottest & Coolest places in each park?

With lots of summer trips being planned, let's talk about the hottest and coolest places in the parks during summer - according to your memories.

MK
Hottest: the area between Pecos bills and BTMR
Waiting in line for Tom. Speedway

Coolest: Pirates!
The tunnel like bathroom area in Adventureland

Epcot
hottest: the entire outdoor World Showcase!
coolest: living with the land

AK
Hottest: Africa, Near entrance to safari
Coolest: some shady water misting path somewhere. Where was that??

Don't have much memory of the elements here..

For me, the hottest spot in MK is right when you get inside the park, by the flagpole where the M&G for Donald and Daisy is. I've gotten stuck in that part of Main Street USA several times for parades, and have felt like I was boiling.

The coolest part of MK for me is the shaded area between Splash Mountain & BTMRR, and under the trees outside the Shooting Gallery (there's that little bypass sidewalk on the lake side between the turkey legs stand and the loading area for Tom Sawyer Island).

At EPCOT, the hottest spot for me is the large concrete area outside Mission: SPACE and Test Track. I know there's a misting spot over there, but the metal benches around there get so hot that if you're in shorts and you sit down, you'll burn your legs.

The coolest part of EPCOT for me is either the waiting area for Soarin', or Spaceship Earth. I also like the Morocco Pavilion fountain and gallery area, and Maelstrom in Norway to cool off at.

At DHS, the hottest area to me is around the big Mickey Hat/Great Movie Ride (the queue for GMR is cool, though)/Commissary Lane. I always have a hard time finding shaded areas there (that aren't already taken).

The coolest area of DHS for me is the queue for Star Tours (it's shaded), and the Studio Backlot Tour (ride & shopping after the ride).

I don't go to AK enough to know which areas are hotter/cooler than the rest. I do remember the queue for EE been quite cooler than the rest of the park, and the queue for Kilimanjaro Safari been hot even though it is shaded.

I've got a vote for Coolest:

Epcot: In the single rider line for Test Track, nearing the load area, there is the world's greatest AC vent. It feels SO GOOD blowing at full blast and I often hope the line stops with me just in the right spot. Last time I was there I was remarking how it's my favorite spot in Epcot!

MK--Frontierland--we always got caught watching the parades in Frontierland, sweat city every time. Also the queue for BTTMR.

Epcot-agree with an earlier poster-all of World Showcase. The coolest, why Club Cool of course

DHS- the entire park. for some reason, the studios always seems like the hottest of the four parks- JMO though.

Animal Kingdom--actually can't remember the hot spots right now

As for the coolest-- the places where they set up misty sprays. I've seen the misty areas in AK and TOT queue in DHS, although during our trip in 2012, TOT queue didn't have the mists going. Also- TTA in MK and of course nice AC stores and restaurants

I think you nailed it. Dino-Land is virtually unbearable in serious heat.

AK always seems the hottest to us, I think because there are so few indoor attractions. We've never noticed unbearable heat at EP because we'll pop into a ride or shop in WS as we walk along.

AK hot spot .... everywhere other than the indoor Theaters

AK cool spot ... seriously, the Theaters are pretty much it

Epcot hot spot ... that section of World Showcase called the outpost where an African pavilion was supposed to go

Epcot cool spot ... inside the pyramid at Mexico, Maelstrom, the various movies in the Pavilions, that lovely little tiled courtyard in Morocco

Studios hot spot ... Honey I shrunk the Kids Playground. God help all adults who get stuck in that sauna

Studios cool spot ... Little Mermaid theater show, One Man's Dream

MK is what it is ... stay off of the street areas and duck into a store or a sit down show and you're fine. In an emergency grab a cool desert and a big drink and cool off at Cosmic Ray's

AK is Africa hot but I like to cool down at the Dawa bar. It's outside but in the shade and the beer is ice cold.

MK: Hottest in MK to me always felt like that space in between IASW and Peter Pan no shade and the "funnel" of people always made it seem like a sweat box.
Coolest POTC of course.

Epcot: Hottest little "African" area in World Showcase
Coolest. Space Ship earth, I would say The Land but those green houses can get very humid.

DHS: Hottest stupid car show, I know it's shades but fumes, hot concrete, and melting tires no thanks.
Coolest: The Great Movie Ride or eating at Sci-Fi

AK: Hottest the entire park. I'm a born and raised Floridian so I'm used to humid heat. Yet Disney aiming for AK to feel like " Africa" hit the nail on the head when it comes to hot, humid, congested.
Coolest: Dinosaur or EE inside the mountain.

We've found the greenhouse parts in Living with the Land to be pretty stuffy, so I'm surprised that got your vote for coolest! My vote for coolest at Epcot would be Universe of Enegry. A nice 45 minutes in the AC

Coolest at AK for us is It's Tough to be a Bug. Hottest would be the train out to Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Coolest at DHS is One Man's Dream, hottest is Lights Motors Action or Studio Backlot Tour. We once got stuck at the canyon part and had to sit there for a good 25 minutes until it got going again. Some people were in direct sun, and the humidity was unbearable in that little cave!

Coolest at MK - nothing springs to mind. I guess any of the shops on Main St! We went into Carousel of Progress for a reprieve once but didn't find it all that comfortable. Hottest would be in line for BTMRR.

Coolest place in EPCOT by far used to be Ice Station Cool. That was an arctic blast of cold air, what fun. We're really sorry that's gone!

While it may not be the coolest place, we always loved riding the TTA, during the hot summer afternoons when the MK was packed, because it was a great place to relax and cool off while waiting for our last FP return time, before leaving the park for the afternoon. Disney as now taken it down during the summer, which is the time when this attraction is most needed.

Hottest: Any place outdoors at AK.

UGH I forgot about the boats to Tom Sawyer Island. That was one of our least pleasant experiences at MK. The Island is fun, the boat not so much!
