Just stayed at Holiday Inn on Manchester about 1 mile or so from Disneyland. Had 3 girls who loved the kids suites that had a partitioned section with 3 bunk beds along with a queen bed for the adults. Gave the girls some privacy and each their own bed. I can get this room for $112/night.

Anyone have other hotels around Disneyland (within 5 miles or so) that have similar setups and prices? Really cant afford an expensive large suite or adjoining rooms.

Try Cortona Inn - they have the same type room set-up. You'll have to check out the pricing. :)

Portofino on harbour, has kids suites with bunks we stayed over Easter and loved it. :lovestruc
They do online discounts but not sure of the prices this time of year.

HoJo's is in the process of adding kidsuites. Sounds like the kids room will have bunkbeds and a pullout and a TV and then the main room will have a king sized bed and there will be 2 bathrooms. HoJo's typically has fridge and microwave in the room. The pirate themed pool area is a blast there for kids and it's walking distance to disneyland! They have annual pass discounts and DIS board discounts as well as entertainment book discounts. Not sure of pricing on the suites.

We just got back last week we stayed at the Camelot Inn in a one bedroom suite. It was great! Next time I would ask for the top floor, we could hear/feel the people walking around above us but not side to side. Very clean and they had a wonderful staff. Only draw back is the pool is only 3 1/2 feet deep all over.

How far away was the Holiday Inn? within walking distance?

I would also recommend HOJO, we are staying there in the kids suite in less than 45 days!

We stayed at the Park Vue Inn in May 2006. Our room was not a suite of any sort, just a room that had a bunk bed in it. I honestly can't remember if it had one queen/full or two. It was a great deal (I want to say it was around $89/night, but we got a military rate). The room was decent. My husband would probably not choose to stay there again (we had an issue with minor room renovations being done while we were checked in). They were changing out light fixtures and thought it'd be a good idea to do it while we were at the park...trouble was we came back with our then four-year-old to wind down and relax mid-day and they were working in our room! We ended up having to hang around elsewhere for an hour and a half while they finished. I probably wouldn't mind staying there again if the price was right (at the time, it was by far the best deal we could get), but I don't think my husband would feel the same way. We did get the manager to discount our stay (I think 15%) for the inconvenience, though.

Holiday Inn with Kids bunk beds is not within walking distance. It is located about 1 mile away on Manchester Rd. along I-5 south of Disney Way. For the $110/night I have not found any other hotel like it. It has 1 queen bed and 3 kids bunk beds. The kids beds are partitioned in a small cubicle with their own TV. Kids loved it.

I was told the kids suites at HOJO are not yet completed. Their website says coming soon with no pricing information.

The kids suites at HoJo's should be ready by August. I have a reservation early Dec. for a kids suite ~ the nightly rate is $134 + tax (that's as low as it gets ~ it'd be more during holidays/summer/weekends) ~ we'll save 20% with our AP ~ there's also a 15% discount with an ent. card (offers cannot be combined).

Did you book over the phone? I don't see the kids suites listed online for booking.

We have one booked for October - I'm waiting to hear the reviews of the people staying in them in when they are ready :)
