Hotels Near York University

Looking for suggestions and codes for Hotels around York University. My son is in a hockey tournament this weekend and we need a room for Friday night. There is a Super 8 on Steeles. I looks good and had some good comments but only one star on expedia?

Ah, yes, hockey tournaments in Toronto. My daughter's activities when she was playing kept the economy of southwestern Ontario going for years.

We've stayed at that Super 8, but not for years. Nothing special, as you'd expect from a Super 8, but not terrible, either. Another option is the Marriott Courtyard at the 400 & 407 (near the Vaughan Ikea). We've also stayed there for a hockey tournament. Much nicer but more expensive. If it's only one night and cost is a concern, the Super 8 isn't a bad choice. Personally, I'd take the Courtyard. CAA rates start at $116/night.

Stay north of the 407, it is a much nicer area.
