Hotels near Ottawa Outlets

We are going to do an over night in Ottawa in April. Just a quick trip to the Outlets and then Ikea the next morning. I am looking for suggestions on hotels near the Outlet mall, if anyone is familiar with the area or has stayed near the outlets before. Something clean and close.

They're still building the one onsite, but there a few along the highway pretty close. Do NOT stay at the Comfort Inn!

If you let me know when you're coming, I can drop off a Tanger Club coupon booklet for you, I get them for free , I live 10 minutes away so we're there often. McDonalds just opened across the street on the "guys side" (it has Cabelas and Princess Auto). I'm not sure when Starbucks is supposed to open, they've been building it for a while...

McDonalds just opened across the street on the "guys side" (it has Cabelas and Princess Auto). I'm not sure when Starbucks is supposed to open, they've been building it for a while...

There’s an outlet mall in Ottawa?!? How is it? We have a Premium outlet mall north of Mtl and it’s very small compared to the ones in the USA.

@isabellea Tanger Ottawa is also small compared to the ones in the US but its all we've got. I think it is comparable to the one you have in Montreal. They are different companies running the two so the stores may be different.

The mall in Ottawa is just at the western edge of Kanata (so likely further west than you have been in the past). It would be an extra 20 minutes on the 417 from downtown.

If you want a bit of luxury, check out the Brookstreet hotel on March Rd. One of the nicest hotels in the Ottawa area and often with good weekend discounts (it is more of a business hotel, so weekends can be quieter). The Holiday Inn Suites on Kanata Ave are actually fairly nice as well and right next door to Kanata Centrum, one of the largest big box centres in the West End of Ottawa with some good dining options.

Thank you again for your help with this. We booked with the first one you listed, Best Western Glo. I also appreciate your offer to bring me a coupon book however I won't need it. A friend is going up on the 1st and she's a member of the Tanger Club, what ever that is, and she's excited to bring me a book back. It will give me a chance to peruse it before we leave so I guess there's that.
