Hotels near LAX?

Does anyone know of any hotels near LAX. The cheaper the better since I am the only one staying there for 3 days till my friends arrive. I was reading some stuff from trip advisory and it scares me.

We are going in Mid April..I found a good deal at the LaQuinta LAX....Recently renovated. Roughly $74 ( use rate code VISIT ) and $10 for parking.

Thank you so much for that hotel. I was going to try a Marriot and the parking was $15 a day. I might have to cancel the hotel that I booked and rebook there.
