my niece is going and they need a hotel for 6. Anyone have any suggestions? Something close would be good. And is there any onsite hotels that could accomodate them? Thanks!
Onsite rooms only hold 5 unless you get a suite. Desert inn and suites is right across the street and has suites that sleep 6-8 people for very reasonable rates.
There are several that are right across the street- and actually a shorter walk than the DLH. Like the previous poster said, there is the Desert Inn and Suites. We stayed there one night and liked it fine. We didn't try the breakfast. We have stayed at Best Western Park Place Inn several times. It used to be more reasonable than it is now. It was ok but the rooms were dark. We are staying at the Park Vue Inn in March for the first time. Some people rave about it but others have complained about customer service and billing. It has free breakfast and free light dinner ( plus free bottles of water) so we are going to give it a try.
If one of the kids is a toddler they could rent a 1 bedroom at the Villas at the Grand Californian (sleeps 5 + one infant/toddler) if they really want to stay onsite. If the kids are older they could rent points for a 2 bedroom (sleeps 9).
Mid-price point the Residence Inns by Marriott are both nice, Maingate is closer than Garden Grove, and they have 1 and 2 bedrooms that sleep larger families.
We just stayed at the Anaheim Marriot suites and really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very nice and roomy! I liked that we the boys had their own door to the bathroom as well as from the main room. So when they got up during the middle of night they didn't wake our baby!
