Hotel help please!

Fairly new to this board. My neighbor/friend and I are going to DLR for her first time ever in May. We each have 3 kids that we are leaving with our husband's at home. For the last 12 years every time I go to DLR we stay at Hojos, but they are booked this time. Suggestions for a clean hotel within walking distance that we can get for the amazing rate I always get Hojos at, of $69/nt? Clean is a HUGE priority! TIA!

Check Tripadvisor.com for reviews. General consensus around here? I think most people would recommend:
Candy Cane Inn
Desert Inn and Suites (I didn't care for it, but that was years ago)
Best Western Park Place Inn
Anaheim Plaza for dirt cheap and very simple accomodations (I stayed here years ago in '97 and for what I paid I liked it. Huge Olympic sized pool and warm Jacuzzi. Very clean pool area. Rooms were good enough; just a place to sleep.)
ETA: Carousel, Tropicana, etc., all across the street.

Bidding on Priceline for I think 3 stars and higher will tend to get you great rooms at some of the other convention type hotels. They charge parking fees of $11 and up and you must take the shuttle because it's too far to walk.

I think the Parkvue Inn is really reasonably priced, and it's location can't be beat!!

I've stayed at the Red Roof on Disney Way (Now Motel 6) and been very pleased. It's not your normal Motel 6. Rooms are fairly large and much nicer. I really don't want to pay for a fancy place when I only sleep there.

Lately I've been using Price Line and bidding 3 star or above. Twice this year I've gotten the Anaheim Hilton near the convention center for $48/night. There is a $15 parking fee which is absurd but I just add that into the total cost and it's a bargain. I ususally drive to/from the hotel to Timon or Mickey and Friends but there is a shuttle for a couple $'s a day.
