Super 8 on Katella street, Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites or Desert Palms hotel? Which hotel and why??

Desert Inn is right across the street. Of course the Desert Palms is on Katella just west of Harbor. Don't know about Super 8. I understand Desert Palms has a better breakfast (check Tripadvisor)

DI&S, right across from the entrance. For us nothing beats location (unless price difference is huge).

Beds at Super 8 Katella were replaced maybe 4-5 years ago, and VERY comfortable. Desert Inn and Suites beds were HARD when we stayed there 3 years ago. Hard enough I considered sleeping on the floor.

Have to agree about the beds at DI&S. We just stayed there about 4 months ago. Love the hotel for the price, location and rooms are pretty clean but the beds are AWFUL!!!! My arm actually fell asleep several times throughout the night because the bed was so hard. We may be staying there again in April and if we do, I plan to bring egg crate or mattress padding.

of those three, i've only stayed at super 8. we've stayed there several times and i have no complaints.
