Hotel Car Parking

Hi everyone
I'm taking the family for the 3rd time to DLRP next year and we usually fly. Next year though I have decided to drive and need some advice regarding hotel parking. We have booked to stay at HNY and I know you have to show your booking confirmation to get past security on the barrier. However am I right in thinking there is another barrier at the entrance to the actual car park? If so, how do you get past this hurdle? My plan is/was to get to the resort early in the morning, park up in the hotel car park leaving the luggage in the car and collect our park tickets from reception as is the norm.

Its Ok all you need to do is show your confirmation letter at the entrance as you say. I think part of the carpark has a barrier (possibly reserved for convention parking) but you can access the main part without going through another barrier

The beauty with HNY is that they have valet parking. It hardly costs anything and I think is definitely worth it (maybe 10Euros). You pull up at the front of the hotel, a lovely man greets you and loads up the trolley straight from your boot, you get a receipt and off you go into the hotel to check in. Your car is parked (probably in that extra barrier bit) right in front of the hotel and you can pop back to it if you need to. They store your bags until later in the day when you get your room allocated and then they take them up to the room. Its fab
