Hot Tubs at Portofino

Hi,

I'm a Loews Platinum and will be booking the Portifino this January. How do I get a suite upgrage (what room to I have to book initially) and how many hot tubs does the resort have?

Will be there the second January 11-15th will the resort to too quiet at that time?

Call the LoewsFirst number for ressies. Ask for the upgrade because of your Plat. status. They give you an upgrade to Portifino Suite at the time of reservation for Plat. The best rate will be AAA to qualify.
One whirlpool at the villa pool and one at the beach pool. The nicest is in the spa which can access free with your LF. They have steam rooms and saunas too. The showers are great if you have several people trying to get ready at the same time.

We just returned from our trip to the Portofino. There are actually 5 hot tubs-2 at the beach pool, two at the villa pool( one is called a cold splash tub but is still warm) and one at the hillside pool. The spa has one as well.none of them were at all crowded during our trip 9/15-9/19.
