Hot dog stands / restaurants.... need help with research.

there is nothing one place can do over another except maybe, special sauce or flavors, locationa or store novelty... ok maybe there is alot.

I have been to more shops than I like to think, and I cook them better on my own back grill.

maybe yuo can do smoked dogs?

Definitely nothing fancy (as you can tell from the site) but some of the BEST hot dogs I've ever tasted - esp. the bacon cheese dog. They've got a yummy italian beef sandwich, too, and some pretty good ribs.

My favorite show on Food Network... in fact, on the list of possible names if we do this is: Triple D Dogs....

I really like that name it is very catchy and a simple name people will remember.

Why hot dogs? You've always said you wanted to open a BBQ joint. I would think that would be more fun than a hot dog place.
If you're going to start a business you should start one you love. Owning a business is tough tough work (as we've talked about before) so to have one that isn't your passion is going to suck the life right out of you. Some food for thought, no pun intended.

What ever happened with the spice shop? There was a lot of great advice on that thread from a lot of people. Even gave you same great name ideas.

1. BBQ place = 80 - 90 hours a week. No can do.

2. Spice Shop = Been doing research and many are closing, or not opening in the franchise I was considering.

3. Talked to someone who has a small hot dog place... liked what he had to say, and then this guy up here approached me.

Still just figuring it all out, but now that layoffs are coming, I have to figure it all out faster.
