horror movies

Is that the one where Freddy comes across to the real world....Wes Craven's New Nightmare I think its called...that was quite good. I can't say I've ever really been disappointed with any Nightmare on Elm Street films (I'm not including Freddy vs. Jason)...the 5th one has to be my favourite though :D...though I will admit all of them have there...cheesy and not needed moments haha
Yes, that's it. New Nightmare. I agree, even though they all have their cheesy moments, I like all of them. It's one of the only horror series that isn't half porn, too, and I appreciate that.

ok Sweeny Todd is a favorite but I know that's kinda sorta not reall horror but whatever :) and I liked The Uninvited alot! It made me think a bit...

The Unborn was so stupid and pointless. When I saw it I was like "what the heck!? that doesn't even make sense!" And it didn't scare me at all.

deffo the shining i watched it a few months ago and loved it.

also halloween is ok it scared my friends so much they brought a knife into the tent where we were sleeping thinking he was going to attack us in the night lol.
I like the strangers as for a modern horror movie it's good i've noticed a lot of new horror movies arn't really that good there story lines are a bit stupid.
I also like the birds by alfred hitchcock can't look at birds in the same way since .

Ooh the Messengers and the one about the call (I think it was One Missed Call) were pretty creepy. Don't really know if this counts as horror, but The Wickerman definitely was not a movie for 2 13 year olds. It was downright creepy towards the end.

I don't watch Horror movies, I'm too afraid. I get way too freaked out. I can usually watch them without getting too freaked, but later on I start to get anxious and jittery as I think back on them.

I did watch the Ring in 5th grade, everyone told me it was terrifying, but I wasn't scared at all.

Saw creeps me out, yet makes me curious, so I read the wikipedias on it. But yeah, the most bloody movie I've watched in a while is Sweeney Todd... and I had to watch that a few times before I stopped cringing and started laughing at how fake it was (a stylistic choice, though).

My dad's close friends with the producer of the awful Vince Vaughn Psycho remake...
That was just dreadful to watch... horrible acting, and scene-for-scene remake of Psycho yet with no suspense.

That film surprised me, as I've had no faith in a good horror (modern) film since...2004 but that film was really good...though it felt kind of short, but it was to the point and it had a great effect of atmosphere...I just hope the sequel can live up to the first. Though I will admit I almost had a shock when Joanna Newsom started playing on the Record player, I was not expecting that haha.

AliceInHalloweentown:
The remake was awful...I had to watch a few scenes from it when comparing it with the original (Violence in the media)...then anytime anyone remakes a hitchcock film its not very good (though hollywood still plan to remake the birds....:confused3). Though the remake was slightl better than the 3rd Psycho (well what I saw of it)...that was just, well just NO! haha

I watched The Birds at like 3 am one night when I couldn't sleep. I think I was 10 or 11. That movie absolutely scared me to death. I had nightmares about it for days.
