Mrs. Smith - I am sooo sorry Mousekeeping dropped the ball on cleaning the room you stayed at - honeymoon, no less....
And now, re-reading your posts and the whole thread, I will write what I thought the other day when I heard this....
I have never stayed at a value. Have stayed at the mods several times. Have stayed at WL and this past summer, spent 3 days at YC before requesting to be moved. Only at YC did I get a call every day, from check in day to the day we transferred, from the general manager, "Jim", I think.
"Jim" left a message each day to assure that if there were any problems with our accomodations at all, or anything that could be done to make our stay more pleasurable to please let him know. Bet yer boots that if there had been ANY mousekeeping issues - since someone ASKED! - I would've been on the phone in an instant - as I was when the fridge needed attention.
This nonsense about all levels of resorts all offer the same level of service is ridiculous. Not to say there have not been significant mousekeeping complaints posted here, say, about GF. I've found previous' guests belongings upon check in at WL at least twice now. Service is slipping all over, yes, perhaps. But maybe it slips first and faster at the Values.
Now... where's that suit-icon thingy??
