I'm so glad to hear that there are loads of new characters out!

Clarice, Clarabelle, Horace, Jiminy and the 3 Caballeros!
DH will be delighted, too I'm sure - he just loves standing around waiting for DD and I to get our character fix!

We only have one week to go before we're at WDW - I can't wait! Especially since the weather here in Scotland has turned so cold!

I believe that most individuals had an extremely early call time, because this event happened at around 8 a.m. before the Magic Kingdom opened for regular guests. It is possible that they were getting the characters lined up in the early morning darkness, before they hid inside the Main Street buildings in order to surprise the family. I could definitely be wrong, since I wasn't there, but this is my best guess.

yes they had to be there at 4 in the morning. to make sure everything was implace. Also Fowfellow and The Genie were there.

Yes, it was still dark out while we were rehearsing the entrance! My call time was 4:30am- yikes. I'm in that first picture- hiding behind Suzy Mouse.

There is another furry character that's supposed to start at somepoint. But I'm starting to doubt the info.

Who is this "other furry character that's supposed to start at some point"?

Just a report that Clarabelle & Horace were by the flag pole on Main Street this morning around 9:45 a.m. They had quite a line, and Clarabelle and Horace were so wonderful...great with a little baby, and Clarabelle got a shy girl to dance with her.

Both of them were also in the Family Fun Day Parade. Horace was near the front of the parade, and Clarabelle was close behind pushing a little cart/carriage. Other characters in the parade were Pluto, Chip, and Dale. There could have been more, but we were so excited to see Clarabelle & Horace that we really did not notice.

The characters stopped all around the Main Street circle (near the entrance) and waved American flags in time to the music from the live marching band. Just a really fun parade, and I hope Clarabelle & Horace continue to be a part of it!

Saw the Family Fun Day Parade again today. No Chip & Dale, but Wendell was in the parade instead.

At the time I had heard the parade was to start, they made an announcement over the loudspeakers that the parade would begin in 10 minutes. The characters came out riding in a fire truck near City Hall/Fire Station and went to the Hub near the Castle to pick out the guests to be in the parade.

It was really tough to take pictures as guests kept wandering in front of the camera, but these pix below turned out O.K. Enjoy!
