Hopping with Dining plan

Lets say I had the DDP(Disney Dinning plan) and I went to Magic Kingdom(MK) with base tickets and I had reservation at Alfredos of Rome for dinner that night in Epcot can I hop to that park if so can I hop durring lunch or only dinner

You can't go to more than 2 parks on the same day with the base tickets.

If you pay for an additional entry seperate from the ticket you have...
In other words the only way you can hop with out paying the full entrance fee is if you pay for the park hopping option on your ticket..

I agree with muffycat - if you used your base ticket at MK on one day, when you went to Epcot the same day your non-hopping base ticket wouldn't allow entry.

You would need to add hopping to your base ticket to get into different parks on the same day, even if you are going just for a dining ressie....
