Well I asked for a day... what was it a week or so?

Thanks! Less than that, went on the market Sun, they offered on Wed, we countered on thurs, they accepted on fri

Girls are going to get the "big" package at BBB-the one that includes the dress. We are doing a road trip with friends to Ca in June which will include a trip to DL. I am going to look for some Disney jewelry I think.

I am slowly resigning myself to staying at SS-that sounds SO petty I know. I am sure it is a great resort but I am just not feeling it. I did our ADR"s with BC in mind so now I am going to go back and change some. Here they are as of now.

Sat May 22 Le Chef's at 7p with the Illuminations Meet after. I will probably cancel that one and do cs. We need to buy a one day ticket and then upgrade with the DVC discount to AP"s. That needs to be done at Guest Relations which is in the front of the Park. Maybe we will do Sunshine Seasons.

Sun May 23rd Yak&Yeti at 1230p and the GG Safari at 630p We will be keeping both of those

Mon May 24th Crystal Palace bkfst at 9a and 6p at San Angel Inn. We will keep both of those. Lunch will be cs at MK either CHH or Cosmic Ray's

Tues May 25th Play and Dine at H&V at 830a and O'Hana at 530p with Leanne. We will keep those. Lunch will be at DHS probably Pizza Planet.

Wed May 26th BBB at 830a with CRT at 10a and Tep Ed at 630p. Lunch may be just snacks. MK has the fewest crowds this day so we may just hang out there and then take the monorail over to Epcot.

Here is where I think the changes will begin.....

Thurs May 27th no am ADR this is family choice day. We have a ressie at Coral Reef at 1230p. We also have an ADR for the Ya Steak at BC. This is a 2 TS meal. I would have been fine with it if we were at BC but now I think it will go.....

Fri May 28th 9a at Cape May-I made this when we were at the Poly-cause I really want to try it so it will stay, Hubby then wants to eat and drink at Big River before the meet. We then have WC at 6p. We were supposed to swim at BC after bkfst. Now I think I may make this family choice day...

Sat May 29th No morning ADR-I think I may try and make one, DHS and dinner at Tut Italia.

Sun May 30th No Morning ADR-we plan to head to DTD before catching the unmagical express at noon.

SO, I need to add some things. Any suggestions??

Mary, we have stayed at SSR several times and have never been disappointed in our stay.
It's a beautiful resort.
The grounds are gorgeous...
No, it's not Beach Club but it's still soooo nice!
If you happen to get back in the Congress Park area it's a really quick walk to Down Town Disney and the quiet pool and hot tub are so nice right there.
We've always found something good about every section we've stayed in.
So, if you don't get your wait list, you might just like it there!

Try WPE for a cs in DTD!!! That is always my last day !! DTD after checking in luggage lunch at WPE after last minute shopping and looking around then back to Pop for the ME

You may want to try Turf Club at SSR. We tried it there l ast February on our day that we stayed back because of a sinus infection for Cooper. It ended up being a hidden gem. It's really good. Take a trek over to your new home and try out Sanaa one evening. Very yummy. If you get there before sunset, request a table next to the window. The boys loved watching the animals as they ate. We loved Cape May for breakfast last summer. It's one of our favorites!

As far as your waitlist goes, a lot of people on the DVC boards lately have mentioned a lot of luck with calling MS to check on their waitlists. A lot of times they are getting their rooms with that call. Do you know which days are unavailable for your stay for with either resort? You may have some luck some time this week. The 30 day mark is coming up when points go into holding. There should be some cancellations then.

Oh, Mary, I'm sure that SS will be very nice. But I completely understand about not feeling a resort. Remember I changed from Cont to BC for that very reason. Maybe something will open up closer to time for you. But if not, you'll still be at Disney!

On a more exciting note, I noticed your ADRs for Sunday, the 23rd. Will you be in Animal Kingdom? We're doing AK on that day!

I was wondering about Turf Club. I think I am going to do a meal there. Sanaa is a good idea, the menu looks good for everyone. Now that Avery has decided to not eat meat (except hot dogs and chicken nuggets LOL) she is becoming more adventurous. Yay for Cape May.
I need to call MS to give them our ME info so I will check. I have recieved different info on the avalible days. I am still hoping for a cancellation.

The only place that we've eaten at SSR is at the cs Artist Palate. I wasn't impressed.
We did however eat at Ragland Rd. last trip at DTD and thought it was really good.
So you could just walk over there or take the boat.
You know there are so many choices at DTD.
The bus takes no time at all to get you there.

I've heard good things about Raglan Road as well.
