DH put me on a budget for our spring break trip ( has never done this before !!! )

We are staying at VVP off property in in laws free time share.

My big question is - to buy a park hopper or not ?

I am usually not a hopper fan ... It wastes to much time and not worth the 150 dollars to upgrade all 3 of us.

Or should I just do an extra day ?
We will be in Orlando for 8 days .
I normal would get a 5 day pass .

Any thoughts ?

I figured I might want to do the parks more leisurely.
We will have a car .

Going for 8 days, I would see more value in the water parks and more option if you like water parks and the weather looks good.

The hopper option is nice if you intend to take break back at the timeshare and want to go to a different park for dinner, or fireworks. Usually this would work the best for people cramming things into a short trip vs. a long one.

every one needs to decide whats best for their family, myself I would never consider not getting Hoppers, just like the option of saying, had enough here lets go somewhere else....

I'd get the extra day on your tickets and visit the parks at a more leisurely pace. The cost for the extra day will be nowhere near what you'd pay for hoppers. Just be sure to plan your park days based on the crowd calendars at easywdw so that the park you choose each day is the best one as far as expected crowds go.

Thanks all...

I think that adding the extra day may be the best for our family. Would love to do water park...just DD and I - DH is allergic to chlorine. She and I did TL on our last trip in May - we had so much fun.

Yep, that's how I usually do it. I find that the parks that are most busy is usually because of star magic hours. That won't be a problem for us .....
