:) they but us in teir two seating (thats what you get with DP) do you think tese are good seats?

:) How long is the show?

Thanks Nettii:goodvibes

We love the Hoopdeedoo and I think it's worth the extra. And most seats in the theatre are good and if I remember right the show is about 2 hours.

We had been to the HDD yeard sgo pre kids and pre DDP. I too was hesitant about using 2TS's. We went 3 weeks ago and had a blast! I was worried about our seats but they were great! We wre up top but we had the seats right above the stage. My DS's just spun their seats around and leaned over the rail for the entire show...they just loved it. The worst part was they tell you to get there a 1/2 before they even let you in. We left our resort at 6:15...got there rather quickly so we had to wait awhile and the boys were getting tired and cranky. It was around 1 1/2 hours after getting inside.:)

We just did HDDR a couple of weeks ago and loved it!

We weren't on the dining plan this trip, but I would be willing to use two credits for it.

We also had cat. 2 seating, as we were using the DDE discount, and we had a wonderful seat! We were at the 9:30 show, which wasn't as crowded because they weren't even using the upstairs seating. We had a table for six, right in the center, about two-thirds of the way back from the front. There was a big empty space right in front of us, and that was where at one point in the show two of the performers came down and sang a few songs. It was great!

How long is the show?

The show was just about two hours long.

Enjoy!

We were not on the DDP but we just loved this show. My family had a blast even the younger ones. It is worth 2 TS credits. My kids still sing songs from the show.

The upstairs seating is fine. The performers go upstairs as well.

Have a great time!

Just a question for those of you who have been recently, are the side dishes Baked Beans & Mashed Potatoes or Baked Beans & Coleslaw. When we went years ago it was Baked Beans and Corn and allears.net says Mashed Potatoes but people here keep mentioning coleslaw.

When we went a year ago, it was baked beans and corn on the cob. We had a salad first, then fried chicken and barbeque ribs with the beans, corn, and corn bread. Dessert was strawberry shortcake. I don't remember having any cole slaw.

I thought it was very good and worth the 2 table credits.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago, and no corn on the cob or coleslaw. It was just salad, cornbread, ribs, fried chicken, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. The price also includes beer or sangria and soft drinks.

We watched the HDD four years ago and plan to do so on our next trip.
DDs(20, 16, & 9) loved the entertainment and the food.:thumbsup2

Thank you. I was hoping that coleslaw was a mistake because neither my DS9 and I like it. Corn or Potatoes would be perfect.

Just wanted to put in my thoughts on whether it's worth it or not. I think it is absolutely worth 2 credits. The show itself is fantastic. We had a blast while we were there. We weren't so thrilled, however, about all of the food choices. There were a few things we loved and a few things we just didnt' care for. The ribs were probably the one thing that we just didn't like, but I could have licked the sides of the salad bucket--I really liked the salad dressing!

We went Oct 7, had a blast. worth the 2 ts. We sat up top and the singers covered all areas even up top. they involved the audience. my grandaughter had fun swinging he napkin in one song and also enjoyed playing the washboard at the end. We loved the salad and cornbread, I also liked the ribs and chicken. it also came with mashed potatos and beans, did not like those. strawberryshortcake was good. came with drinks also. it was fun how they served the food. they slammed the bucket of chicken on your table. Made everyone laugh. A little corny but very entertaining and a must see at least once!
